Perspective

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.
They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, 'How was the
trip?'
'It was great, Dad.'
'Did you see how poor people live?' the father asked..
'Oh yeah,' said the son.
'So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?' asked the father
The son answered:
'I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night..
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.

We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.

We buy our food, but they grow theirs.

We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.'

The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added, 'Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.'

What goes around, comes around

One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.
Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry.

He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you.

He said, 'I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.'

Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough.
Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.

As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from
St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.
Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.

He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, 'And think of me.'

Good Realization

The daughter had not been to the house for over 5 years. Upon her return, her father cussed her out:

"Where have you been all this time, you ingrate! Why didn't you write us? Not even a line to let us know how you were doing? Why didn't you call? You little tramp! Don't you know what you put your mom through??!!"

The girl cried: "sniff, sniff...dad... I became a prostitute..."

"WHAT?!...Out of here!, you shameless harlot, sinner! You're a disgrace to this family! I don't ever want to see you again!".

"OK, Dad. As you wish. I just came back to give Mom this fur coat and title to a mansion, a savings account certificate of $5 million for my little brother, and for you, Daddy, this gold Rolex, the sparkling new BMW that's parked outside and a lifetime membership to the Country Club...and an invitation for you all to spend New Year's Eve on board my new yacht in the Riviera, and...

"Now what was it you said you had become?"

Girl, crying again: sniff, sniff "A prostitute, Dad!".

"Oh, Gee! You scared me half to death, girl! I thought you said a Protestant! Come here and give your old man a hug!".

Husband For Sale

 Husbands for Sale
A store that sells husbands has just opened in Manila, where a
woman may go to choose a husband.

Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the
store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE!

There is, however, a catch. .... You may choose any man from a
particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot
go back down except to exit the building!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a
 husband...

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1 - These men have jobs and love the Lord.

The second floor sign reads:

Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, and love kids.

 The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, and are extremely good looking.

" Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.

She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads:

Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead good looking and help with the housework.
"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!"
Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads:
Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead gorgeous, help with the housework and have a strong romantic streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 4,363,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.
Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. Watch your step as you exit the
building, and have a nice day!

Send this to all men for a good laugh and to all the women who can
handle the truth !-

Breakfast at McDonald's

This is a good story, please read it all the way through until the end. (After the story, there are some very interesting facts):

I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my college degree. The last class I had to take was Sociology.

The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had been graced with.

Her last project of the term was called, 'Smile.'

The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document their reactions.

I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello anyway. So, I thought this would be a piece of cake,
literally.

Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning.

It was just our way of sharing special playtime with our son.

We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden everyone around us began to back away, and then even my husband did.

I did not move an inch... an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside of me as I turned to see why they had moved.

As I turned around I smelled a horrible 'dirty body' smell, and there standing behind me were two poor homeless men.

As I looked down at the short gentleman , close to me, he was 'smiling'.

His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for acceptance.

He said, 'Good day' as he counted the few coins he had been clutching.

The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman was his salvation.

I held my tears as I stood there with them.

The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted.

He said, 'Coffee is all Miss' because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something. He just wanted to be warm).

Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes.

That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action.

I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a separate tray.

I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed gentle man's cold hand.

He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, 'Thank you.'

I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, 'I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope.'

I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat down my husband smiled at me and said, 'That is why God gave you to me, Honey, to give me hope.'

We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give.

We are not church goers, but we are believers.

That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love.

I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in hand.

I turned in 'my project' and the instructor read it.

Then she looked up at me and said, 'Can I share this?'

I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class.

She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human being s and being part of God share this need to heal people and to be healed.

In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my son, instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on
the last night I spent as a college student.

I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn:
UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.

Much love and compassion is sent to each and every person who may read this and learn how to
LOVE PEOPLE AND USE THINGS - NOT LOVE THINGS AND USE
PEOPLE.

The Dolls of Love

I have a boyfriend who grew up with me. His name is Jin. I always thought of him as a friend until last year, when we went to a trip from a club. I found that I fell in love with him.

Before that trip was over, I took a step and confessed my love for him. And soon, we became a pair of lovers, but we loved each other in different ways. I always concentrated on him only, but by his side, there were so many other girls. To me, he was the only one, but to him, maybe I was just another girl…

“Jin, do you want to go watch a movie?” I asked.

“I can’t”

“Why? You need to study at home?” I felt disappointment grabbing me.

“No… I am going to meet a friend…”

He was always like that. He met girls in front of me, like it was nothing. To him, I was just a girlfriend. The word ‘love’ only came out from my mouth. Since I knew him, I had never heard him say ‘I love you’ before. To us, there weren’t any anniversaries at all.

He didn’t say anything from the first day and it continued till 100 days…200days… Everyday, before we say goodbye, he would just hand me a doll, everyday, without fail. I don’t know why…

Tina,

our 100 days is almost over. I had fun with you during all these days. Although you may be greedy sometimes and less thoughtful, but these all brought happiness into my life. I have realize that you are a really cute girl and blamed myself for never taken the time to knowing that. I have nothing much to ask for, but I just wish that we can extend the day. I want to be your boyfriend forever and wish that you can be beside me all the time. Tina, I love you.

11:58

Tina: (sobbing) Peter. Did you know what was the wish I made on the night there was a meteor. I asked God to let us last forever. We were suppose to last 100 days so Peter! You can't leave me! I LOVE YOU, but can you come back to
me now? I love you Peter. I LOVE YOU.
As the clock struck twelve, Peter's heart stopped beating. It was 100 days.

NOTE*

Tell the guy or girl that you love them before
its too late. You never know whats going to
happen tomorrow. You never know who will be
leaving you and never return

I Love You, Goodbye

I have a friend whose name is Kristopher who really love his girlfriend, Jane, so much. You can really tell how much he love her. They were so happy. They give time to each other everyday even if just a little time. Every time I would saw them tickling and laughing with each other, I can't stop but to admire their relationship. Then I told my self, "One day, if I would love, I would definitely do the same thing as Kristopher is doing. I would really love that girl and take good care of her". One day, the Jane saw Kristopher who is so happy talking with another girl. She decided to join Kris and the other girl. Kris then introduce Jane to his friend, Carla. Carla is one of the classmates of Kris. Kris and Carla were discussing about their project. While having their discussion, they thought for a jokes that makes them laugh.

From that time, Kris and Carla became a very good friends. But even though, he never changed to his girlfriend. He still gives more time to Jane. Despite of that, Jane still got jealous of Carla. Every time that they have a date, Jane would always ask Kris if how's his relationship with Carla. And every time Jane ask that question, Kris got hurt. He feels that Jane don't trust him. And sometimes he would think maybe Jane just using that situation to have a reason to break with him. That maybe Jane is the one who have another man. A man that she loves more.

One day, Kris ask Jane to have dinner with him. Kris try to make Jane laugh. But instead, Jane ask Kris again with the same question about Carla. At that time, Kris can't stop his feeling anymore. "Why are you always asking me that stupid question?" Kris ask. "Why are you so jealous with Carla? We were just classmates and I can't stop of seeing her. Jane, you know how much I love you, if how much I treasure this relationship. We keep and take good care of this relationship for 2 years. And do you think I would just trash those happy moments that we've shared? Those problems that and trials that we've passed through together? You know what? Every time you ask me that question you made me think that maybe its you who have another guy. That maybe you're just using Carla to break our relationship." Then Jane exclaimed, "Huh? You think so that I have another man? How could you think about that? Have you seen me talking with another man? Huh? Answer me!!!". "Yeah, I haven't saw you. But I've noticed this past few days that you've changed", Kris replied. "IT IS BECAUSE YOU HAVE YOUR CARLA!!!" Jane exclaimed again. How many times I would explain it to you that Carla is just my friend?" And that conflict continues.

One day, Kris heard a news that Carla would be transferring to another school. He feel so happy about this because at last Jane would have nothing to be jealous of. He immediately went to Jane's classroom to tell her about the news. While he is on his way, he saw Jane. Instead to feel happy, he got shocked because Jane is setting with a guy holding their hands. Kris feels that the whole world drop on him. He don't know what to do. He just stand still watching her girlfriend holding the hands of another guy while kissing with each other.

Before he could realize, Jane saw Kris watching them. Jane suddenly stand and went closer to Kris. "I'm so sor...". Before Jane could finish asking apology, Kris immediately shut her mouth. He just take a deep breath and sigh. He calmly hold Jane's cheeks. With teary eyes and says, "Don't worry, Jane, I understand. I'm not mad at you. I just hope you've made the right decision. I wish you would be happy with him and he would never hurt you. Just always remember that I love you so much and I would still be loving you until there is forever". After saying those words, Kris give Jane a kiss on her nose. "No one could kiss you like that but only me", Kris added. As Kris says those words, Jane couldn't do anything but to cry.

After talking to Jane, Kris turned his eyes to the guy named Mark. "Bro, congratulations. Please take good care of her more than I do. Love her and don't hurt her. She sometime have a bad attitude but all those were just nothing. Just try your very best to understand her. If you have some misunderstanding, please don't shout on her. It would just make her more mad. And she needs your time badly. Meet her everyday and if you have extra money, buy her anything. It could be chocolates or junkfoods or anything. And lastly, don't forget to say "I Love you" and kiss to her everyday."

Before the guy could say anything, he went back to Jane and hug her for the last time. "Take care always and be happy. Always smile. I love you but goodbye". Then Kris walked away.

After the graduation, Kris went to a very far place hoping that he could forget Jane. But as time paased by, he realize that he couldn't really forget Jane. That Jane is already a part of his life.
