Danielle Doty was crowned by Miss Teen U.S.A. Kamie Crawford of Maryland as the Miss Teen U.S.A. 2011 at the Atlas resort in the Bahamas on Saturday July 16, 2011.Danielle was the second teen from Texas who won the title of Miss Teen U.S.A. The first one was Christie Lee Woods who won the title last 1996.
On the said pageant last July 16, 2011, Audra Mari of North Dokota was crowned as the first runner-up, Alexis Swanstrom of California was the second runner-up, Taylor Clark of Kansas was the third runner-up and Sydnee Stottlemyre of Missouri was the fourth runner-up. The pageant was hosted by Miss Teen U.S.A. 2005 Allie LeForce and a Las Vegas radio and TV host, Chet Buchanan.
